  • Integral is founded by Egbert L. J. Perry and Clyde E. Gumbs to produce healthy, nurturing and sustainable urban communities, with a focus on both physical development and the quality of life infrastructure

  • Integral co-develops Southside Station, a mixed-use residential/retail commercial real estate project that triggers the revitalization of Birmingham’s Center City South
  • An Integral-led partnership creates:

    • The legal, regulatory and financial model that makes it possible to create mixed income affordable and work force housing communities

    • Centennial Place, the nation’s first holistic community revitalization project, integrating mixed income rental housing and home ownership, an early childhood development center, a K-12 STEAM public school, a family recreation, health & wellness YMCA and family support services

  • Integral launches the Ashley brand, as its mixed-income, multi-family rental product

  • Integral creates its property management subsidiary

  • Integral creates its first Assisted Living Project, located in an affluent African-American community in southwest Atlanta

  • Integral commences a public-private, urban revitalization partnership project in Philadelphia

  • Integral launches the Veranda brand, as its Affordable Independent Senior Living product

  • Integral initiates real estate equity fund management services
